6/16/26 Update from Mike Donohue

We are so excited to announce that we are official owners of our new church home. 

Through your generous support and prayers, we were able to close on the property on June 15th. 

Our new address will be 1105 Providence Rd. Towson, MD 21286.

But we are not moving in just yet. As Paul laid out for us last Sunday, we are now in stage 2 of our journey. 

There is much work to do on the building. It needs some major clean up and deferred maintenance. We are also planning a small addition off of the sanctuary.

Depending on how that goes, we hope to be able to worship together in our new facility in late 2026 or early 2027. For now, we will continue to worship in our current facility on 6200 N. Charles St.

But we need your help! We will be organizing several dumpster days and other work days to help clean up the building. Our first one will be this Thursday June 18th from 1 PM to 6 PM. Feel free to come by for any or all of that time. If you cannot make that one, don’t worry there will be other times. We will be updating the website and Church Center App to alert you to other days and times you can help.

Also, now is a great time to make sure you have transitioned your pledges to giving. You can either give at church, or you can give through the Church Center App. 

These are exciting days, thanks for all you have done and are doing!

5/2/26 Capital Campaign

When we started as a church, we called ourselves a New Church with an Old Soul. Bringing fresh spiritual life to old church buildings may be something God is calling us to do with an even greater sense this time. God has provided an opportunity for us to establish a new home at 1105 Providence Road — right at Providence Road and the Beltway.

The primary building is around 9000 square feet and it is on 4 acres of land. It has Sanctuary space as well as children’s classrooms. It also has space for fellowship, meetings and offices. It is right in our geographic footprint and is still in the Towson area. Beyond location, there are several things we are excited about.
 
It will expand our ability to do ministry. Morning communion, mid day and evening Bible studies, and more opportunities for student activities. Funerals and weddings and picnics and celebrations will be much more accessible for us as a community. Having our own facility will give us the capacity to make changes and adapt for the future. It gives us a place to share. We want to be a blessing to our community.
